Jim Rome to Satellite Radio?

I've noticed in the past 2 weeks he has been hinting he might be interested in taking the Jungle to Satellite radio. He even had ex- ESPN Prez Mark Shapiro on and asked for his thoughts. Of course the clones have called in and e-mailed saying it would be a bad move.

I believe he signed a 5 year extension about 2 or 3 years ago for his radio show.
His contract would probably have to be bought out.

I hope he doesn't move to Satellite. IMO he has the best sports show on radio. I enjoy his takes and the clones are amsusing sometimes.

Man, if he does, I sure hope he comes to XM, not Sirius. I just ordered an XM2go unit today. He can be a jerk, but he's amusing.

He's going no where. What he's hinting at is that he's going to make a choice whether he stays at Mighty XX 1090 or does his TV show. He feels like he can't do both anymore, so it's going to be either or.

Sometimes he is quite amusing... When he's riffing on a particular subject, or conducting a good interview, he can be very entertaining... It's when those idiot clones call in that I have to change the station... "Errr, Jim.... Thanks for the vine...."

I do have to admit that the little section he talked about yesterday with his "late" dad letting his 3 dogs go was hilarious.
"Dad, where the dogs?"

"They're gone!

"Where are they?"

"They're gone!"

"Give me the keys so I can go look for them then....."

"They're gone."

"Are they at the pound or something? Where'd they go?"

"The dogs are gone!!"

"Dad, what do you mean the dogs are gone?"

"I put them to sleep"

"The dogs aren't gone. THEY'RE DEAD"

The most and ONLY funny thing that I'll always remember about him. It was a "had to be there to listen to it" moment. Getting pissed that his dead dad killed all three of his dogs cause one was limping.:y4: :y4: :y4: :y4:
