First, I've had my PS2 since X-Mas '01 and still have the original controller, along with one purchased last year.
I just bought MVP: NCAA '06 for PS2 and got through several exhibitions and 4 dynasty games just fine. I've been using my original controller. This afternoon, however, things went haywire.
After loading the game, I went to the schedule option in dynasty and the cursor kept bouncing across the screen. I was powerless to stop it, until I plugged in the other controller.
That solved the menu screen, and playing defense was fine, but there was a problem during batting: my batters immediately went into their bunt stance and I couldn't control them. So, I plugged in the original controller and now I could bat, but, the original controller wouldn't work for defense.
Obviously I don't want to keep plugging in different controller each half-inning. I've played SD vs. RAW and that played fine on both controllers. I also played NCAA '06 and that worked fine, too.
What is the problem? Do I need to buy ANOTHER controller or is there something wrong with the game? Is my system at fault?
Thanks for the help.
