Wow. This is so sad. One of the funniest actors ever has passed away. You will be missed Don.

You beat me by a minute on the thread, but I wish we weren't typing on the subject. Don Knotts was one of the funniest actors ever. The Andy Griffith Show never was the same after he left. That is one of my favorite shows and he's a big reason that it is. Truly sad news.

Yeah, I wasnt as big a fan of The Andy Griffith Show but his roles on Three's Company (as well as his other roles) were impeccable.

He was great in everything... even his guest appearances lit up a show.

He had been in ill health the last few years so it's not that surprising. I remember as a kid watching the Andy Griffith show and he was the funniest thing on it. His role of Mr. Furley on THREE'S COMPANY was just GOLD.

Sad day, grew up watching Knotts with Three's Company + movies. RIP Don Knotts.
