I was just looking through the ads for next week, and Target has season 1 at $19.99. I've never watched the show before, is it worth it?

Yes it's worth it.

I only started watching 24 this season and really enjoy it. I picked up the Season 1 24 DVD box set. It's much better to watch the show on DVD than only seeing an episode once a week.

Once I started with the first episode, I had a hard time shutting off my DVD player.

The complaint I have is that there's barely any special features.

I need to get the Season 2,3, and 4 box sets now.

I bought Seasons 1-3 of 24 and The Shield around Christmas since they were $19.99 each at Best Buy. I had never seen either show before just like you and I would say it was worth it.

Those DVDs kept me busy for awhile and now I watch the new episodes every week since I'm hooked.

Last Black Friday at Best Buy, they had seasons 1-3 for 9.99 each.

I think they were 19.99 Black Friday since the Shield was in that ad.

I know at least season 1 was 9.99, my buddy bought it for 9.99.

i rented it about 2 months ago, but i'll go ahead and pick it up anyways. That's way cheap.

A couple years ago I got Season 1 and 2 for 80 bucks which I thought was a good deal at the time.

Another show that I've been watching on TV and want to own the DVD's to is The Shield. I love that show.
