Plot Outline: A recounting of Domino Harvey's life story. The daughter of actor Laurence Harvey turned away from her career as a Ford model to become a bounty hunter.

Plot Synopsis: Based on the true story of Domino Harvey (Keira Knightley), daughter of film actor Laurence Harvey. Tired and unsuited to the pretentiousness of her high-society LA life, Domino leaves the glittarti behind and sets off to become a bounty hunter. She quickly falls under the wing of veteran hunter Ed Mosley (Mickey Rourke) and his crew and becomes an unlikely natural in the art of bounty hunting. But things really heat up when a gang of masked men begin a series of armored car heists, and before long the mob, a crazed TV producer, the FBI and a terminally ill child have all got caught up in the crazy situation.

I didn't see it, but it was only because I can't stand Tony Scott's directing style, he gives me a headache.

Blockbuster shipped it out to me, I should get it Monday. I'm looking forward to seeing it. It didn't really look like one to spend money on in the theater, but it could be an interesting rental.

I saw it on some sneak preview thing a while back. It is good, I can see why it gets panned by critics, but it is a fun movie. The directing style is a headache, I agree with that. It has some really funny moments, a lot of decent action and Christopher Walken, what more do you need?

Not a great movie by any means, but it is worth watching IMO. It tried way too hard to be like Snatch for a stretch in the middle.

I watched it last night and liked it. It's all over the place but if u keep up it's cool. I like movies like Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels so I kept up with this pretty good. Domino is also a fine piece of assss, she shoes off her little thangs towards the end:wink:

Pretty good for what it is. The Director's Cut could have used about 20 fewer minutes and it would have been near perfect. If you don't like Tony Scott's directing style, you definitely won't like the movie.

On a side note, if you like Tom Waites, you are in for a pleasant surprise.
Overall satisfaction also makes the decline!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw it over the weekend. I liked it. I personally like Tony Scott as a director. I must say though, his deep dark tones are different from the norm, which make him some what seem bizarre. Almost like he had a terrible childhood or something

It's not the deep dark tones...It's the amatuer MTV music-video style editing. He directs movies as if he's some 16-year old kid who won a contest that lets him make a movie while the studio foots the bill.

I agree, Defel. I hate Tony Scott's directing style of late, but Man on Fire proved to me that a decent film can still shine through his crummy "post-modern" style.
