 Re: The Hills Have Eyes

I saw the previews while I was watching American Dad, reminds me of Texas Chainsaw Massacre a little bit. Might have to check it out.

 Re: The Hills Have Eyes

It seems there has been a lot of remakes lately. Must be the trend right now. I saw the commercial during Family Guy, looked pretty spooky. How I wish, how I wish you were here. We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year. Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.Comment

Remakes and Sequels. God forbid someone tries to come up with an original script. No wonder why nobody goes to the movies anymore.Originally posted by Victor99It seems there has been a lot of remakes lately. Must be the trend right now.PSN: JISTIC_OS

 Re: The Hills Have Eyes

I fear a complete mess of a movie. Wes Craven's original was hokey, but good. This will most likely be awful (i.e. The Fog remake).

If it was made by John Carpenter or Wes Craven...please do not remake it.Comment

 Re: The Hills Have Eyes

They actually had to edit quite a few scenes in this movie or it would have got an NC-17 rating.

 Thanks,

 The Original from 1977 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077681/
Tagline: The lucky ones died first.

I remember watching that and being very scared by it. Course I was 17 at the time. Hows this for a trivia bit
Trivia: The dead dog used as a stand-in for the family's slaughtered Alsatian 'Beauty', widely believed to be a dummy dog, was in fact a real (already dead) dog that director Craven and producer Locke had bought from the county sheriff's department

 Re: The Hills Have Eyes

I actually own the original movie. Definetly a classic. As a horror buff I'm looking forward to seing this. For those who didn't know, this movie is being directed by Alejandro Aja, the director of HIGH TENSION which IMO was the BEST HORROR movie of 2005... Him, Eli Roth & Rob Zombie are brilliant director's & not scared to push the limits & boundaries when making Horror Movies. Making this a MUST see for me. Also if anyone can get their hands on The Descent I HIGHLY Recommend it. Fantastic Movie & the scariest movie I've seen in a while. This direct by the guy who directed DOG SOLDIERLast edited by bigfnjoe96; 02-28-2006, 03:51 PM.Comment
