    Any ESPN radio listeners?

I'm pretty much addicted. Since I decided it was more important to have Internet instead of cable I was having ESPN withdraws (pretty much the only reason i had cable before). Since I've found ESPN radio, I don't miss cable as much.

Dan Patrick is kinda annoying, but Keith Oberman (sp?) is pretty entertaining.

Plus, I get 3 hours of local sports (which is 90% Gamecock related and 10% Clemson related).

yeah I listen to ESPN Radio. I listen to Mike and Mike every morning. I'll take Patrick over Rome also. What's great is the ESPN Radio Insider at espn.com, you can download the interviews you miss on the radio.

About 60% of the time that's on my Sirius Radio. Right now I'm listening to the Stephen A. Smith show on the New York station on the internet.

Mike and Mike, The Herd, Dan Patrick, Sports Bash, Game Night, All Night...

          No, what's ESPN Radio??

I should aslo suggest two very excellent shows on Fox Sports Radio:
          • Out of Bounds with Craig Shemon and James Washing (8:00am - 11:00am)
          • The Drive with Chris Meyers (I believe it starts at 3:00pm and runs until 6:00pm)

Out of Bounds is my absolute favorite radio show. The chemistry between the two hosts is just unmatched.

My daily schedule is usually Ouf of Bounds, the last hour of The Herd, the Dan Patrick Show, The Drive, then Game Night. I know, I'm a little obsessed, but anytime there's a radio nearby, it's tuned to AM sports talk shows (good thing I'm studying for a career in sports, haha).

Mike and Mike is OK.... Colin Cowherd is probably the best thing going on ESPN Radio now, but I think he's at his best during college football season... He's easily more listenable than Dan Patrick... He's an acknowledged college football nut, and I think that's the best part of his show... I will usually listen to his show until he does his "Spanning the Globe" part, and then I'll switch to WFNZ (sports station out of Charlotte) for the rest of the day...

              Re: Any ESPN radio listeners?

The only ESPN Radio I listen to is ALL NIGHT. Sadly it's saddled with a jackass of a host in Jason Smith. At least the V Show is good tho it seems Valvano has gone missing.

I miss having SNR (Sporting News Radio) on my radio dial. If I want to listen to it I have to stream it over the web. I think SNR is a LOT better then ESPN in terms of listener participation and the hosts are pretty good.

Now for a little Canadian content I suggest you check out Bob McCown on the FAN 590 here in Toronto. His show PRIME TIME SPORTS is one of the more intelligent and interesting sports talk show presentations in all of North America.

His show runs from 4 PM to 7 PM EST.

Mac Jurko and Harry are pretty good, The best on ESPN radio. I like Mike & Mike as well but sometimes Greenberg gets on my nerves always overanalizing things.

Sporting News Radio rocks.... Good call, SPTO.... They easily own ESPN Radio... I would listen to their stream at work, but something with the firewall here at work stops the feed from coming in clearly... Fortunately, they are affiliated with a station here in Raleigh (620 The Bull) so I can catch it in the nighttime or when I'm driving around during the weekend.

My favorite hosts on SNR are:

Tim Brando (great with college football and college basketball)

Chris Russell (I used to call frequently when up late at night with my baby boy)

Bob Stelton and Bob Berger on the weekends

I listen to ESPN radio when Fox Sports radio is on commercials.

Is that the same guy that informally called his show RUSSELLMANIA?

I also like Rick Ballou, I was listening to his show before the Bears/Panthers playoff game and it took a lot of balls for a guy sitting in Chicago and saying the Bears wouldn't win.

I stream it all day, every day at work. Colin Cowherd is the ****, Mike and Mike is usually pretty good.

DP is when I shut it off though and head to 1050espnradio.com to listen to Stephen A. and Michael Kay.

I don't blame you, Dan "pause" Patrick and his one topic shows.

Yeah, that's him... He also subs for Tim Brando and James Brown on occasion... If it wasn't for those two heavyweights, and Tony Bruno in the mornings, I'm sure Russell would have a slot in the daytime.

I do the same thing on occasion... I'll listen to Stephen A., but I cannot stand Michael Kay... When I was living in NY, one of my worst radio days was when they booted Wally and the Keeg and moved up Michael Kay in the slot....

I usually listen to Fox Sports radio on my drive to/from work. Sometimes I'll listen to ESPN in the morning.

In the afternoon, Pittsburgh's ESPN radio guy is Mark Madden. I can't stand listening to him. Typical loudmouth with not much to say. So Fox Sports Radio gets most the play at that time.

I used to listen to Sporting News Radio at work, but since we have now disallowed streaming audio, that doesn't work. I could get around it, but since I'm supposed to be the guy stopping people from doing this, I guess it wouldn't look good if I streamed audio.
