    Olberman vs O'Reilly

Whats the deal with this little beef going on. I dont know if its potlical or not..I know both host poltical or somewhat politcal talk shows, but I was wondering why they keep taking jabs at each other?

I hear Olberman taking jabs at O'Reilly almost daily. I dont want O'Rielly's show to know if he does the same.

I think it started when O'Reilly asked people to sign a petition to oust Olberman in favour of putting Donuhue in Olberman's slot.

Olberman's always been an idiot. He was horrible on Sportscenter and its just gone downhill from there. Not that I have a whole lot of respect for O'Reilly either, but Olberman would look less the fool if he just challenged O'Reilly to a public debate or a duel for that matter rather than take shots knowing tht O'Reilly can't/won't respond.

        O'Reilly has responded.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Olberman is on Dan's radio show each day. And you can pretty much count on a O'Reily zinger somewhere in the mix.

Yeah, it has to do with Donahue. Which is funny, because O'Rielly and Donahue can't stand each other. But, ORielly got peeved because Donahue basically got canned because he made too much money and was replaced by people who don't even get half the ratings Donahue got.

I thought Donahue's show got bad ratings? I know that before he went back with the pseudo daytime talk show format that the ratings were in the toilet. The change in format made the ratings jump up but I don't think it was enough to keep him on the air.

Obermann needs to do anything he can. O' Reilley murders him in that same time slot.

Yes but as stated by Olberman, O'Reilly's demos are so old that they'll be gone in 10-20 years while he (Olberman) has a core of young(er) viewers.

Oberman won't even exist in 10-20 years. And after his young viewers add 10-20 years of maturity, they'll realize what an idiot he is.

O'Reilly is an idiot and yet people still watch him.

He has charisma, something we don't see too many celebs posess. The man can be a bastid but he's entertaining.

That all depends on what you consider entertaining. I mean people find many things entertaining that I will never understand why. I think many people watch shows like this because the hosts says things that they wish they could say in their eveyday lives but can't. So they live vicariously through these talk shows where they can call in a vent while having some anonymity in the process.
