    Was Phantom Menace bad?

I thought it was just a part of the story no more no less.

I think it is the best of all the movies listed in that list. I thought much of TPM was good, there were just a few spots that I couldn't stand (Jar Jar, Anakin's one liners, etc).

      Atlanta Braves
      - Auburn Tigers - Nashville Predators

Good list, those were all dogs except possibly Matrix Reloaded which had no prayer of living up to the first movie which was supposed to be a standalone film anyway. Godfather III should be #1 on any list of bad sequels, imo.

And I love that they included Leprechaun 2, like the first one was actually good.

Dash: [muttering] Which is another way of saying no one is.

I thought The Next Karate Kid was better than The Karate Kid III. Still wasn't that good though..

Thought the same thing... some of the originals on that list shouldn't have been been let alone a sequel. Speaking of which where is Mighty ducks 2

I guess the originals did fairly well (at least made a profit) or they wouldn't have merited a sequel.

It tried to be too complex and tricky... the first movie which was based off the Rat Pack movie just seemed to be the type of movie that you just dont make a sequel for cause its tough to top it.

I disagree. I thought Next Karate Kid deserved to be in the top 10 of worst movie sequals.

I don't consider that movie as part of the Karate Kid series (which should be considered a trilogy). It was more of a terrible spin-off.

How did Halloween H20 not make the list?

Does Alien vs. Predator qualify as a sequal? If so, it should be on the list.

Gremlins 2 might be just outside of the top 25 worst sequals.

Reloaded shouldn't have been on the list, but whatever. I think the Matrix sequels are seriously underrated.

At least the Star Trek movie series with the original crew bounced back with ST 6: The Undiscovered Country
