I got it, but I have seen it before. Once you realize one thing about the rules of putting the blocks in the square, it becomes much easier. Took me a minute to remember it though.

the 5 pieces don't have to make a square, they just have to fit INSIDE the square..............still working on it. Maybe that will help someone

yes that's the hint. For the longest time, I was trying to make the 5 pieces fit to make a square. You just have to make them fit in the big square, not make a square.
