...I don't like tracks about guns so you kinda lost a potential fan right there.
As for the sound, it's not bad. Obviously, there is room for improvement, but I think you guys sound better than most people making a push for this."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

. fat ****** is meh (the only song ive heard). those battle raps/ish talking are amatuer and easy as hell to make. i can make better battle raps.
if your going to make battle raps they need to be much more creative- your saying alot but not really saying anything. keep working at it though. And with the third pick - I made the earth sick

Re: Fans Of Rap...
Oh man where do I start? First of all, it's pretty clear to tell where your influences lie, and that's not a bad thing, but like somebody said earlier, what are you guys bringing to the table that hasn't already been brought by 5,000 other rappers? And for that matter, what's different about you guys from the other wannabe rappers out there?
I'll give it to you with no sugarcoating because if I don't, somebody else will. The beats are stale and grow old after about 30 seconds. The writing is unimaginitive, trite, and hackneyed. The flow itself is delivered without much personal style, and the flow contained within each song never wavers from one verse to the next, meaning that once you've heard the first 30-45 seconds, you don't need to hear the rest.
On the positive side, you guys at least have taken the very difficult first step of producing beats and throwing some personally written rhymes onto them. I know a lot of people who say they would like to rap but are too scared to take this first step.
Sorry to be so harsh, but I wouldn't listen to that crap again if somebody gave it to me for free. I'm curious as to what type of rap you listen to, and who some of your favorite artists are.Lux y VeritasComment

Re: Fans Of Rap...
Thanks for the feedback, yeah this is just a first try, we are trying to improve and use our own beats this time out. I listen to almost any rap artist if they're good from d-block to kanye to jay, dipset, eminem, even common and no we are not 16, the youngest one in the group is 17 and he dosen't rap, he's the guy who's making the website and trying to promote us, like i said I respect each and everyone your opinons and we are definitely trying to get better.
p.s.- we really didn't want to base our mixtape on disses, it just happened that people talk alot of crap sometimes or make a diss against us and it's up to us to respond.Last edited by Nets; 03-09-2006, 05:50 PM.Comment
