Personally, I like the following songs by deltron: Mastermind, Memory Loss, 3030, Dr. Bombay, Mistadobalina, I mean there's too many to list for me. I like all Del. Like I said Deltron 3030 is my favorite album, so maybe start there. Both Sides of the Brain is also really good.

If you like Del, check out his group, Hieroglyphics. "Full Circle" and "Third Eye Vision" are awesome albums.

And as far as music you bob your head to, definitely check out Murs. Also, if you don't already listen to Nas, you probably want to start. Still one of my favorite songs, even though it's old "If I Ruled the World" by Nas.

        (sorry for double post)

for atmosphere, most of the stuff is good, but as for hits, check out: "God Loves Ugly", "Modern Man's Hustle", "Trying to Find a Balance", "Pour Me Another", "God's Bathroom Floor", "Reflections" and there's more.

for Hieroglyphics: "You Never Knew", "At the Helm", "Oakland Blackouts", "Powers That Be", "Chicago", "Halo", "Love Flowing", "Let It Roll", "Full Circle".

        try those out.

sportsdude: thanks a lot for the replies. by the way where i can find Dr. Bombay, Mistadobalina?? i enjoyed deltron so far. i really like "Mastermind"
i already have Murs. and i can say that it's fantastic. 3:16 and revenge our both good.
about Hieroglyphics. i both got "Full Circle" and "Third Eye Vision" haven't got the chance to listen to them though. i was able to get atmosphere "Lucy Ford" and "Can't imagine", but haven;t had the chance to listen to them yet.

i was able to listen to blackalicious "blazing arrow" it was alright but i wasn't like "damn this is good" just alright for me not compared to lil bro, murs.

          thanks alot.

do you have the felt: "tribute to lisa bonet"?

            Re: fans of underground rap?

With Nas (I know he's not "underground"), start at Illmatic and check the newer stuff. Illmatic is perfection. Top notch production form the biggest names of the time and equally dope lyrics. My favorite album in any genre, ever. Everything else he put out, you have to sift through a lot of crap to get the jewels. But they are there.

Some other older stuff you might want to check is Gangstarr. The GOAT producer and the most underrated MC. Start with the greatest hits album, Full Clip: A Decade of Gangstarr. See what you like, go to the begining and work your way up. Even their last album, The Ownerz, was really good.

Marvin Gaye is a great track, another one of my favorites from the album.

Does anybody have Mr. Lif's latest album?

Anyone know where I can get a Little Brother Acapella (Words without the background)?

The new song on their myspace by Darien Brockington is great, but I feel it could be so much better with Phonte jumping in on the 3rd Verse... If anyone has an acapella of Phonte or Little Brother... please put it up here, or send it to me via AIM (xcelldarim3187).

yeah, but they're all under the name "Del Tha Funkee Homosapien". If you like Del and Hieroglyphics, then you should check out Handsome Boy Modeling School, specifically the albums "White People" and "So....How's Your Girl?" It's kind of a different sound, but I enjoy most of the music and Del of course rips up the mic.

Some of Pigeon John's cd's are good too... very similar to Handsome Boy Modeling School.

                            "Sings the Blues"
                            "Is Dating Your Sister"

                            are 2 decent albums.

The group he is in ~LA Symphony~ also cut a cd earlier in 2006 called "Disappear Here"... really good cd imo.
