Is Mac Miller underground enough for this thread? His new album is great.

Mac Miller is far from underground at this point, he's big.

I've been listening to Logic and Chiddy Bang for years now, also love Chris Webby, Yonas, and The Dean's List..

Forgot to mention OCD: Moosh & Twist as well, listening to them since they dropped 'City Kids'.

This is a terrible thread. Just post all of this in the hip-hop thread.

Underground rap is extremely hard to define these days anyway. I wouldn't consider Deltron 3030, Logic, Chiddy Bang, Mac Miller, Vinnie Paz, Joey Bada$$ underground artists anyway, but I guess some would.

              RA The Rugged Man.

Also, most of the artists in Strange Music other than Tech N9ne, could kinda be considered underground or indie.

Futuristic is great. "Long Days, Cold Nights" featuring SwizZz of Funk Volume was fantastic in my opinion.. he's underground right?

Joey is still not mainstream but this thread is good, Its nice to not lose chatter about logic with talk of J. Cole and K. Dot plus this thread is older then the official hip hop thread..

The only thing "not mainstream" about Joey is that he's not signed to a major label.

You could say the same about Tyler, the Creator, Macklemore, Mac Miller and plenty of other wildy popular rappers. I consider them mainstream independent artists.

Zach De La Rocha can eat a dick. Still anticipating the album, tho.

A Black Rob feature in 2013? Where has dude been? Thought he was in jail for some reason.
