Started out pretty good, then got lame, then got sickening. Not a great review, but not a great movie either.

I agree. And I got tired of all the 'animals gone wild' scenes.

How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days was about a thousand times better.

Although I do have to say that Terry Bradshaw (whom I despise with every fiber of my being) was actually pretty good in the movie.

Yeah, that was disturbing, to say the least. I usually like romantic comedies, but I wasn't impressed. Like BigRed said, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days was much better. There was too much useless garbage going on in the movie besides the main plot (the animal stuff comes to mind). Terry and Kathy Bates were probably the best part of the movie, but they didn't show enough of them.

I thought she was hot...based on the characters in that movie...i would probably have rather dated her than Sarah Jessica Parker's character

Also, I thought she and McConaughey had zero on screen chemistry.

Not surprising this movie was a stinker considering this came from the director of Showtime and Shanghai Noon.

All the animal scenes were unnecessary and just padded the length of the film.
I find it hard to believe Kit and Paula would be roommates.

My eyes still hurt from seeing Bradshaw's ***.

I didn't laugh once and the script was a mess.

It seems like McConaughey gets to show off his body in every one of his films.

I'm gonna rent this mainly because part of it was filmed in Leesburg, AL, an area my wife and I like to visit a few times during the summers because of the scenery and waterfalls. Not sure what happens in the movie when they are filming there, so I want to rent it and see if I can pick out the scenes.
