    FX TV Shows

I just love the TV Shows on FX. From the Shield to Rescue Me, there is some good stuff on here. Then we have the new Black & White which is really interesting and Thief which starts on 3/28. Since it's cable, these shows are a bit more on the rougher edge side.

I read an article sometime ago about how FX is the new HBO with their crop of gritty and interesting dramas. Has HBO launched anything big in the last year or so? Is Deadwood (I think that's what it's called) still on the air?

Deadwood will start again in the summer along with Entourage. Those are their two biggest shows now that the Sopranos is almost finished.

I saw the first Black. White. episode. I wasn't impressed with the social commentary at all.

I hate how they try to clump the everything into "black" or "white" culture as if there is only one type of black culture and one type of white culture. They treat it as if all blacks have universal experiences and all whites have univerally shared experiences.

Even the movies they show are great. They're showing Vertical Limit right now. I haven't seen this movie in a long time, and I love it!

SHIELD is one of my all time favorites, but I didn't get into RESCUE ME. I'm pretty much anti reality show (except for BLIND DATE) so BLACK & WHITE doesn't interest me. I'm going to try to give THIEF a chance.

BLACK & WHITE is FX's attempt at controversial reality TV. I watched the first episode and then tried to get through the 2nd but I stopped. It's a show not for me.

I can't sit there and try to watch a white family act like a black family and a black family act like a white family. Then one family gets upset over the other because they didn't act correctly.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

The Shield is down to it's last 2 episodes for the season. I think that Lemonhead might be caving in this week as the previews suggest.

Nip/Tuck & Rescue Me simply own me. Two of my favorite shows on television.

The Sheild, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, Over There(over...but it was a good show) are all amazing.

Plus like someone pointed out, the fact that they are like...always showing good movies is a huge plus.
