He must not have if he was expecting a huge, action filled movie.

Sorta like someone watching Jarhead because they thought it was going to be the stereotypical war-movie.

I think knowing that the Wachowski Brothers, he assumed it was going to follow that action-based criteria their history shows they do.

I guess he just saw the score and didn't read.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Their history of movies also had a good deal of lesbian sex so that probably sealed the deal.

Ok, I saw a late showing of this tonight, and as of now I'll say I liked it. I think that it is a bit difficult to not notice that there is a bit of a political statement trying to be made, but it's up to the viewer how they want to interpret it. And no, there is not tons of action, and if you go in thinking that, well you screwed up. It does make you think and frankly I expected nothing less after realizing all of the stuff there was to think about in the Matrix series. With that said, I think I'm gonna see it one more time to see if I can catch a few more discreet things here and there.

I'm gonna say its worth giving a shot. I personally like it quite a bit and I'm willing to shell out $8 again to see it for a 2nd time

                    Re: V for Vendetta

I saw this a few days ago and I came out impressed. For the very-little action it has, it makes-up for in style and quality. The story was quite good and thought-provoking, as most say.

As for the political overtones, everyone who hasn't seen this movie should keep an open-mind about it. Yes, it send a message but you should interpret it within the context of the movie and not apply it to every real-world situation we have now. V for Vendetta is a lot like 1984 (the novel), so anyone who's a fan of that could very-well like this film.

I really enjoyed it... I expected more action, but the action that is there (especially at the end) is very cool. The plot really hooked me; I loved the dialogue from V, he is just too well-spoken not to like. I am going back for a second viewing.
