You don't get into enterainment expecting to not be famous!@#

Because if you get lucky and you make it, that's how it is.
If you don't want it, don't sign record deals. don't sign major movie deals

I completely agree and find it difficult to really feel any empathy for them but at the same time when troubled people like Cobain make it, it often compounds their problems and their lives in ways they never expected. People like us only see the upside of fame and fortune but for people who are not the least bit materialistic (which is rare) and have emotional fragility then it's a bad combination. I doubt Cobain ever thought he'd be the person he ended up being.
