    Conviction: New NBC Drama

I searched and didn't see a topic for this. So who is watching this show? It definitely has a lot of potential, but I am worried in the wake of Law & Order it could be lost.

It's not bad so far, I like they are doing something different than Law & Order. (trial by jury is off the air, by the way, isn't it? man I think it only got in 1 or 2 episodes...oh well)

Killer timeslot - Fridays at 10pm.

I saw the first episode, but I've missed the rest since I was out and didn't setup a series recording on my DVR for this. It seemed like a pretty good show though.

I prefer ABC's Numbers on Friday, but I can always record this. Hopefully they move it to a better timeslot in the future.

Even with J. August Richards and Eric Balfour onboard, I think I'll probably still be passing. Not because it doesn't look good, it actually does from the promos, but because legal dramas just aren't my bag. I may record a couple episodes just to check it out, but it's unlikely it will be getting a series priority anytime soon.

Caught a mini marathon on USA this past weekend. I thought that it was a pretty good show. Plus it has my boy Charley Gunn

Saw the first episode. Nothing special, decent legal show with some of the personal lives thrown in. Really pretty predictable though, nothing too exciting. I see no reason to watch this over Law & Order.

I only watched this once because Alex Cabot is in it. I was disappointed when they didn't focus on her at all.

In the first episode, one of the A.D.A's was gunned down, and killed by the Colombian drug cartel. Cabot's character had the SAME thing done to her on SVU 3 years ago, though she survived. How do they not bring this up in the show? Makes no sense to me.

I watched one episode of this, and I'll probably never watch again. I'm not interested in character dramas, just plot and story based stuff.

Oh and I also can't stand the token "troubled" menace cast member with the scraggly goatee. I was praying he would get mowed down in the first ep.

I 110% agree man..Monk is 100x better than Conviction IMO although I've only seen one Conviction. Without a dual tuner TIVO i'd never have seen even one Conviction. The first ep was mundane, somewhat boring and very very predictable. I'll give it 2 more eps to snare me in, then it gets yanked from my Tivo rotation and I'll stick with the best Law & Order show...Criminal Intent (only the ones with Vincent D'onfrio though, that other guy Noth ain't all that).
