ive been to hong kong twice. looking over at hk island from the kowlook sight at night is simply breathtaking. if your ever there with your spouse, it's garentedd(sp) they will like it.

Chicago ahead of New York? That's blasphemy -- and ridiculous -- even with the Twin Towers gone.

Hong Kong's skyline is crazy, though. Man, that's a sh*tload of iron and glass.

Chicago's has a nice symmetry to it. New York looks all smashed up together. If you ever take a cruise on Lake Michigan at night and see the skyline it's amazing.

Hong Kong is no doubt the best though.

I too like the Asian skylines, but let's not forget that with the Chinese government, they can claim land without any fights. We could have fancy new skylines, but with the EPA, IRS, and lawyers...a developer could never get the land downtown. Not to mention the volume of companies in our existing highrises. Then again, ours were built by and large in the latter half of the 20th century, while during the 1950's Shanghai and Beijing were fishing villages...

Anyway, does anyone know where I can find wallpaper size versions of these skylines (or others)? Thanks!

I really like Chi-Town's Sky Line.

Man they seen to have taken the worst pictures of the Best City in the wrold. Anyway, I'm here to post the the correct set of NY pics.

You know, I have to agree about NY having the best skyline. I remember coming back from Atlantic City and seeing some of the NY skyline and I was amazed.

Even walking through Manhattan you get the sense of the enormity and beauty of the city. I plan to go back to NY this summer
