What exactly was the purpose of the experiment?

It didn't really seem to have a point.

I like this kid. Seems like it would be an interesting experiment to attempt. I would really like to hear his first-hand account of everything that happened while he was there, seems like it would make for a very fun read.

Or, you could just rent the movie Career Opportunities and get this kid's story plus a young, very hot, white-tanktop-clad Jennifer Connelly to stare at....

my superwalmart near my house is crazy..

school night... dead of winter..... 2 am in the morning.. a few hundred people checking out on two registers... all walks of life too. not just your college kids trying to buy beer. It's pretty interesting.

If I was a walmart I would let them film a movie about this.. either documentary style or a real production.... really seems interesting

Wow. I don't want to spend 10 minutes in Wal Mart, much less 3 days.

That was random. I don't understand how his bank account could be frozen from staying in Wal-Mart though.

And yeah, I've been to plenty of Wal Marts at 2-3 AM and it is always crowded beyond belief with 1 or 2 registars open for 50 people trying to check out.

He probably used it so much over such a short period of time the bank froze it.

I find it hard to believe that this particular Wal-Mart isnt busy round the clock. I used to shop this one all the time, and it is always busy 7 days a week.

What he did isnt that difficult to do. It really is no different then new managers having to try and rob the Walmart they will be eventually managing. Not all stores do this, but when I was looking for something different in careers I was asked to do it, and it was simple to do.
