Need Ipod help

My Ipod seems to have shut down. All there is is the blank screen and I cant do anything to make it work. Ive tried pressing every button at once and nothings happening and it wont show up when I plug it in to my computer.

Any ideas?

I plugged it into the charger and the screen is still just blank

Ive held every button and every combination of buttons for at least 30 seconds each

I threw it against the floor and now the apple symbol is on. Whew. Hope it works now.

And then I get a bum internet connection for 10 minutes. What have I done to anger the technology gods?

It still skips over songs when I try to play it...maybe plugging it back in the computer will help.

What kind of iPod is it? Because I have a mini, and apparently the minis have had a lot of trouble with their internal batteries. I know people that, luckily since they had a warranty policy, had to get like 3 new batteries because they simply stopped working.

The other thing is maybe it's just frozen, which happens about once a month to mine. To unfreeze it, you hold down the middle button and hold down somwhere on the direction pad, though I can't remember where. It's like diagonal something, but go to those iboards and ask, some nerd will definitely be able to help you there.

I had tried that and it still was blank. Everythings fixed now, just had to throw it on the ground.
