LOL, I saw this on the news today.

I could happen though. We used to have a cat that went nuts. During Christmas time he would hide in the christmas tree, and when you walked by would come jumping out, latch onto your arm or something and bite you. Bit both my parents multiple times. We had to make sure we knew where he was at all times, and had to lock him in rooms to keep him away from my brother who was a baby at the time. Eventually we just took him in and put him to sleep.

essentially the same thing happened to our cat. When I was younger (8-12) me and a friend used to terrorize this cat. Not to the extreme point of abuse, but basically we would trap it in a room, then basically put up a blanket to catch it when it eventually tried to run out. As well, we'd get the cat to stand up on its hind legs and "box" with her.

Well, anyway, when I was like 14, it decided to start getting even. Anytime I'd sit on the couch with my arm dangling off, the cat would run up from behind the couch and latch on to me. Finally after just nips and a bite here and there, she latched on and wouldnt let go. I wound up with a big bit mark down my arm from my elbow to my wrist. Since my sister was about to have a baby, my mom put the cat to sleep.

My cat happens to be a very mellow stoner! He boxes with whoever wants to mess with him, and he NEVER uses his claws.

I'm not insane and I have 3 cats. I've always owned cats since I was born so I'm kinda use to em. Anyway, I used to have this cat that would hide in the bushes and wait for little kids to walk past and scare them. It was hilarious. And seriously, he only went for little kids. He'd hop out, look at you with his ears pointed back, do that scary meow and get into attack mode. Good times.

I'm not insane and I have 3 cats. I've always owned cats since I was born so I'm kinda use to em. You know what's funny? You started this statement off with you not being insane. Then you finish it off with getting pleasure from a cat that scares kids on purpose.

"Eventually we just took him in and put him to sleep" How long did you indulge this cat during his serial killer phase? Sounds like you put up with that Pet Semetary wannabe for a few Xmas'. With a baby in the house the 1st time he went nuts he would of been out in the garbage the next day with the leftover chinese food. I'm just picturing everybody in your house walking around for years tiptoeing looking for psychocat to spring off the microwave with the Friday the 13th music playing in the background. Too funny.

not a few xmas.' A few months.

I was pretty young then, so it wasn't my decision. He wasn't always crazy, and even after he started attacking people, he'd be fine for awhile, jumping up on your lap, letting you pet him. And then other times he wouldnt be fine.

My mom had him since he was a kitten, so I guess she hoped it would just stop, and didn't want to kill him.
