    FUEL Music

As everyone knows, Fuel has been looking for a new lead singer ever since Brett left. I was just watching the news and auditions have began in Libertyville, IL.

My friend will be the next singer of Fuel, his voice is insane.

As if their time hadn't already past... But, damn, Sunburn and Something Like Human were such phenomenal albums, and Natural Selection had some excellent tracks on it. But trying to carry the band on without Scallions? That's just dumb.

Not that Brett's career is going to go anywhere as just the bassist for The X's though. Then again, he's never going to make it as a solo artist since Carl Bell was the mastermind behind all of Fuel's hits.

I still think that CBS should have picked them up for the next season of Rockstar though, instead of going with Tommy Lee and Supernova.

You never know. They could find someone that is even better than Brett, or they may not. Look at bands like AC/DC, Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Chicago, and so forth to name a few. The changing of the guard could benefit a band greatly or it could just allow them to continue making awesome music.

I heard on the radio they offered the position to the rocker on American Idol, but he turned them down for some reason.

But yeah, I agree, they would have been a great choice for Rockstar.

They must've heard Daughtry's rendition of Hemmorhage... which, IMO, after listening to it again, was very off key. He does have a great voice, though.

From what I read on AA when they first announced the auditions, it was that performance that led to their having the open contest in the first place.

It was due to his contract obligation with Idol.
