Well, 2006 is 1/4 of the way through and after April and May, I'm not exactly sure how many more new releases I'm going to pick up this year. Outkast's album might actually come out this year (seriously, probably not) and Ambulance LTD is releasing their sophmore album in June. While there are a handful of bands working on new albums, they will most likely come in the fall or early next year.
Anyway, I'm just curious what everyone's favorite albums of the year are so far.
Mine:
1) The Derek Trucks Band - Songlines
2) Murs - Murray's Revenge
3) Ghostface - Fishscales
That's my top 3, the rest will be juggled around in the next week or so after I get more listens in.
4) Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Show Your Bones
5) Cat Power - The Greatest
6) The Flaming Lips - At War With The Mystics
