Re: Goodfellas or Godfather / Pacino or De Niro?
The Godfather, it was a great, a all time classic movie. One by which all others are measured against. I would say it's a split between the Pacino and De Niro. I love Godfather 2, great story and you had both actors in it.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Godfather is more the standard, however for me it's Goodfellas. DeNiro is far and away my favorite actor and I could watch Goodfellas pretty much every week and not get tired of it.PSN: JISTIC_OS

"The Godfather," with ease. Better acting, better overall cast, better script, better story, better cinematography, better everything.
"Goodfellas" is an excellent picture, but come on: "The Godfather" had Marlon Brando, Robert Duvall, Al Pacino and James Caan in the same scenes. 'Nuff said.
I do like Di Niro as an actor much better than Pacino, though. Di Niro has way more range. All Pacino has done in his pictures since "Scarface" is play some derivative of a screaming lunatic. He's becoming as typecast as Tom Cruise.
Take care,

I was watching Goodfellas last night and thought of this question, both movies are great mob movies that people have different opinions on.
Pacino or De Niro two of my favs. Movies like Scarface and Carlitos Way or movies like Taxi Driver and Raging Bull.......tough.H.O.V.AComment
