Not a big fan, but the two I hear are "musts" are Either/Or and XO.
I love the song "Needle In The Hay." The album they put out after he died, called "From A Basement on a Hill" is the only one I've heard all the way through and it is pretty good. -

I don't have any solo work by Elliott Smith, but I have the CD Mic City Sons by Heatmiser (a band that Smith was the frontman of)... pretty good stuff. I recommend it.Comment
