Finally got around to seeing these 5 movies

Hostel: It was an okay horror flick. I was a little disappointed, maybe b/c my friends hyped it up. I thought the special effects were pretty cheesy.

Final Destination 3: Not bad, but wasn't nearly as good as the first 2. It was too much of a tweener....not as scary as the first one & not as gruesome as the 2nd. Not quite sure I want to see a 4th.

Underworld Evolution: It was sweet. It felt like a perfect blend of the Blade series and LOTR: Return of the King. Oh yeah, Kate Beckinsale was hot.

Ice Age 2: Loved the first one, and liked this one a lot. If only that squirrel could ever get the acorn...

March of the Penguins: Liked the documentary. Mainly wanted to see this on my HDTV. I'm a fan of Animal Planet and PBS shows anyway, so this film was right up my alley.

The only one I even have a desite to see is Underworl Evolution since I really liked the first one.

I highly recommend everyone see "March of the Penguins". It was surprisingly great.

Yeah, I dunno. FD1 and FD2 were both over the top, which was definitely a good thing. It seemed like FD3 was trying to be a nice mix of being scary and gory, but I just couldn't get into it.

I will watch it hopefully this weekend or at the latest on Mon. So far from the people that have seen they say its not as bad as the hype for it was (people passing out from it and such)

Wow. This thread got ressurected from the dead. Almost forgot about it.

Update: I finally saw Deja Vu. Pretty good action/suspense/time travel movie but it left a lot of unanswered questions. The "chase" scene was the best I've seen in a long time....that was a nice twist.
