Who else thinks that current movie trailers.....

.....are overkill? Both in how often they show the same scene or would-be cliche line....... and in how much they actually show of the characters? For example, because of previous trailers, I'm going to do everything possible to avoid any imagery of X-Men 3 until my butt is in the seat on opening day.

The Da Vinci Code trailer is very spoilerific. I guess they firgure everyone in the world has already read the book.

Movie trailers have been bad in this regard for 20 years now. I love trailers that don't reveal much but those are very hard to come by. Most trailers these days even show a bit of the climax scenes for cryin' out loud!
