because he was injured last year and the beginning of this year, and he's played better than Telfair since coming back. Sam Cassell has been keeping him on the bench while Steve Blake has been keeping Telfair on the bench.Originally posted by Flyboy

Livingston is actually good. The dude has had numerous 10 assist games. I think he had a triple double this year too.Originally posted by FlyboyWhy aren't people rushing out to call Livingston a bust then?Comment

You cant tell if any player strait out of high school will live up to there hype untill there 5th year in the league IMO, Because most players come out of college and that would be there college year.....but there is one gifted player out there from high school that you can tell will be one of the best.(LBJ)Originally posted by Vinceanity2k3Livingston is actually good. But still, Livingston is by far and away the better player. Now and in the future.Comment

Re: Through the Fire (Sebastian Telfair Documentary)

So because you're taking more shots you're improving? Oooooooook. He acutally averaged 7 points his rookie year up a whopping 2 PPG this year. His FG% is identical to last year. UNDER 40% Wow, that's horrible. 3PT shooting is up, but yet his FT shooting is getting worse.Originally posted by SoMiss2000Telfair is a 6 foot point guard who isn't even 21 yet. The documentary made me look up his stats. He went from 3 points per game as a rookie to 9 per game his 2nd year. Kid should continue to improve.

There is no real tangible improvement. Just more minutes, and he shoots more FG attempts.PSN: JISTIC_OS

I still think he should have went to Louisville. He could have played in the final four his freshman year. The documentary was good, but I thought he got into the hype and made a choice he thought was right for him and his family.Comment

As a person I really like Telfair...but his game is weak. It's so obvious the kid is only looking to pass and really doesn't trust his jumper. I'm really rooting for him to do well but I don't think that their can really be an argument right now that he has been a bust thus far.Comment

Highschool Player + Point Guard + NBA = Patience.

This is why no one should have drafted him in the first place. He'll take atleast 5 years to develop maybe longer....and he SHOULD take that long. Yet, people on here are already calling him a bust.Comment

When you are hyped that much and perform terribly...you are a bust. He has shown no significant improvement.Originally posted by keRplunKHighschool Player + Point Guard + NBA = Patience.

I still find it unfair to consider him a "bust" after TWO SEASONS.Originally posted by EWRMETSMaybe the best post in OS's history. If you don't think Tony Romo is a Hall of Famer, you support al Qaeda.Comment

But one can consider him a bust thus far...I mean its funny how everyone who is trying to defend him has to say he's BRUTAL because he's young. No one can justify not considering him a bust because of anything he's done on the court.Originally posted by FlyboyI still find it unfair to consider him a "bust" after TWO SEASONS.Comment

Re: Through the Fire (Sebastian Telfair Documentary)

I thought the show was very good. His team won three straight high school championships. Regardless of what level you play on that is nice. As far as his nba career thus far, its hard to really call him a bust imo. As a six foot point guard it is probably more difficult to have a huge impact in the nba out of high school compared to Dwight Howard who is a manchild who can cause havoc and put up numbers due to his size and strength alone.Comment
