Same producer, different director. Layer Cake has a similar tone (and similar cockney accents) but is more centered around one guy's story instead of a bunch of different interweaved stories.

In an unrelated note, I still can't believe Daniel Craig is the new James Bond....
    Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.
Dash: [muttering] Which is another way of saying no one is.

I loved the dark humor of the film and I thought the various accents were great touches. Overall, great film. I'll have to watch this one again.

Kind of on topic, Jason Statham, who played Turkish in Snatch, and is The Transporter, and Handsome Rob in the Italian Job is currently getting ready to film the Brazilian Job. Hopefully they bring back Seth Green and Mos Def.

      Hey!!!

You failed to mention his other great film (also a Ritchie film) Lock Stock & two Smoking Barrels.

Snatch rules IMO, me and my boy watch it at least a few times each year, we damn near have the entire screenplay memorized LOL.

Watch "Lock Stock..." it is as good as Snatch. Both are excellent movies, Brad Pitt does a great job as does the whole cast of Snatch.

It's definately a good movie though, I found it funny as hell though I don't know if it was really intended to.
It definately a comedy first and foremost. These movies are an acquired taste, but for me throw in some Cockney accents, with the uniquely understated British humor and I'm going to be on the floor in stitches.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Agreed. I thought the funniest parts were the scenes with Sol and Tyrone.

Hey, I dont think anyone has mentioned "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" yet...

I hadnt seen either of these until a couple years ago and rented both of them on the same night. I enjoyed both of them.

Actually Snatch just shows to me how great an actor Brad Pitt is when he plays the right character like in Kalifornia, 12 Monkeys, Seven, Fight Club etc... and doesn't play the standard pretty boy leading role. He's vastly underrated and any of those aforementioned roles were Oscar worthy IMO.

I love both Snatch and Lock Stock. I need to see Layer Cake still.
