Need advice on where to download mp3's.
Where does everyone download their music? Peer to peer is out of the question here, so what now? I've tried www.allofmp3.com but it left much to be desired. I just started a Napster subscription, but I don't know if that's what I want either. Does anyone have any suggestions? Being over here, we don't get to keep up with all the new music, so I feel like catching up.Back in the NCAA saddle after 17 years.Tags: None -

iTunes is great, if you want to spend some money. Hope all is well over there, and keep up the good work!http://flotn.blogspot.com

Some even have free mp3s on their official websites as well.Originally posted by GAMEC0CK2002Some groups have their music free to download on their myspace pages.
Speaking of the Napster thing, I did the free trial but essentially you're paying $15 a month to "rent" the songs. I'd rather pay .99 per song and keep them for as long as I want, rather than paying a fee every month. I actually have iTunes and Napster on the computer and I pay .99 on both. I like iTunes mixes a lot better than Napster, but I think they're about the same for what I need them to do.

So, I can download music on Napster, listen to it a thousand times, but when I cancel my Napster account, the music disappears?Originally posted by Fresh TendrilsSome even have free mp3s on their official websites as well.

I don't think it actually disappears in the sense that there isn't a file, but the license on the song (which is really what you're renting) expires and as such, no more song to listen to.Originally posted by shortsoldierSo, I can download music on Napster, listen to it a thousand times, but when I cancel my Napster account, the music disappears?
