I know this was talked about many many months ago, but I am starting to see adds. With all this end of the world talk, middle east talk. The upcoming Da Vinci code movie.

I've been reading their forums for the last year and a half. Now that I finally saw some bilboards, I remembered it all over again.

BTW: On the movie not religion, I realize that if it gets religious, it will get shut down, talk about the movie only please. Do not turn this into a was there a jesus or not thread.

never heard of it, but I wish people would stop using that damn ugly font.

also, if the world is going to end, I doubt it would be on an obvious day where everyone was expecting it.

I'm betting you will be hearing tons about it in the next month and a half. I see your negativity towards the whole subject, so I assume you simply hate the idea of this movie being released.


I am not a fan nor proponent of this film, simply making it known it is out there.

So it's a cheap indie flick made by some guy who is pretty much just dramatizing a documentary he has already made (The God Who Wasn't There)? Pass.

EDIT: Wait. Backup. Hold the damn phone. That documentary dude made... Supposedly Barbara and David Mikkelson are in it in some aspect. Holy crap, that kicks serious hiney. Maybe there is some serious hope for this guy and his film afterall.

This movie is right up my alley in terms of the story. I just hope it isn't so low budget that it detracts from it.

I seem to gravitate towards stuff that takes a fictionalized look at prophecy and religion that still has some credible and very realistic theories/thoughts on the subject.

There have been many books on the "historical Jesus" just type that up on Amazon and you'll see tons of books on the subject. There's even some scholarly research that indicates Jesus went to Europe and such.

I've known about this movie for awhile...I don't know what happened to the website....it used to be normal.
