I've been looking forward to this album for a couple of years now, so I was pretty excited when I found the leak last night. After first listen, I was slightly disappointed, to be honest. But, I'm not going to rush to judgement, Tool CDs normally take a few listens to grasp and understand.
Regardless, I'll be first in line to pick the album up on May 2nd...Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

His mother suffered a stroke, and she was paralyzed for around 20 some odd years (10000 days). She was very religious as well, so alot of the lyrics have to do with her being a saint and that she is the only one that could save her son (Maynard) and goto heaven. Wings for Marie/10000 Days is probably the most emotional modern music I've ever heard.Comment

I don't understand how you can be such a big fan but still get the leak. Or how you are looking forward to buying the album, sure their album art is traditionally pretty cool, but you're going to pay $10-$15 to hear an album you've heard 10+ times in the two weeks prior to you buying it. Not meaning to critisize, getting leaks or not getting them is no big deal, just wondering how you are still excited about buying the album.Originally posted by TimmeH

I dunno, it's just something about actually owning the album that I like. It is good to hear that it is a good album, Tool doesn't dissappoint.

I'm a huge fan, I couldn't wait another 2 weeks before I heard new material from them 5 years later. I've bought all of their cds, their packaging is awesome as well.Comment

Like I said about the new GGD album, I'll probably go as far as to download it, but that'll be it. I own Ænima, Lateralus, and Undertow but have drifted far away from those days in recent years.Comment
