    Suggest me some reading material

Well I think it's time that I start reading again, but I don't know what to read. I was thinking about buying The Da Vinci Code and some others, but I don't know of any good ones. So, does anyone know any good books?

      The Da Vinci Code
Now I Can Die In Peace (Bill Simmons' book)
Game of Shadows (the book about BALCO and steroids)

I've read The Da Vinci Code and Now I Can Die Peace this year (school year really, so September to now) and I'm reading Game of Shadows right now, it's fascinating stuff.

Yup, like most others will say, I recommend "The Da Vinci Code" as well. Fantastic, thrilling book that had me turning pages WAY too late into the night. It's especially way too late when I have 8 o'clock classes (8 o' clock classes SUCK!), and I was up reading 2 nights in a row until 2:30 AM or so. The book wraps you up, and doesn't let go.

Other than that, I tend to read more "action", or "fast paced" types. Anything really by James Rollins or Steve Alten ("MEG" is a must read) I can recommend.

Da Vinci Code is excellent, and I would also suggest Angels and Demons. Ive always liked the Ender's Game series, too.

                  8 o'clock?

I wish my classes started at 8, I start at 7. However, I'm done at 12...so it works out just fine.

Does it have to be fiction? If not then here's two highly recommended books. I haven't read any of them yet but I intend to buy one of them this weekend.

Sound and Fury : Two Powerful Lives, One Fateful Friendship by Dave Kindred

It's a parallel biography of Ali and Cossell

The Only Game in Town : Baseball Stars of the 1930s and 1940s Talk About the Game They Loved edited by Fay Vincent

I think the title explains it all. I really love oral history type books.

Re: Suggest me some reading material

I had a 12 hour shift last summer where all I could do was read, I read the enter Da Vinci Code in one sitting...It was insanely good and I'm super amped for the movie.

Now that school is winding down I really want to read Clockwork Orange (one of my fav movies) and 1984

Also plan on reading Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs : A Low Culture Manifesto real soon.

Fantasyland by Sam Walker. It starts off a little shaky, but picks up steam through the middle and the ending is great.

This was my first time reading anything by Sam Walker but I really like his writing style.
