Battle Creek is good. It's about this baseball team in Michigan.
Would someone please explain the Da Vinci Code to me? I heard so much but know so little about it."Besides pride, loyalty, discipline, heart, and mind, confidence is the key to all the locks." --Joe Paterno

Are you looking for literature, popular fiction, non-fiction? What genre?
The three best books I've read of late are A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole, Atonement by Ian McEwan, and At Play in the Fields of the Lord by Peter Matthiessen.
McEwan is the best, and easily the most talented, writer I've ever read; he truly has a gift. A Confederacy of Dunces is a hilarious book set in New Orleans about a thirty year old man that lives with his mother, and At Play in the Fields of the Lord is set in the Amazon rainforest and recounts the experiences of a family of religious colonists and their attempts at converting the natives.
All are very good books, and very unique, both in setting and writing style. I'm reading McEwan's Saturday now, and it is even more technically impressive than Atonement, which is a pleasant surprise.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

This was my first time reading anything by Sam Walker but I really like his writing style.
YES!! I just finished reading that a day or two ago, took me about 3 sittings to do it in. So many awesome and hilarious things about that book. If you want to talk about the book or just fantasy baseball in general PM me I'm always game.Comment

I've read The Da Vinci Code and Now I Can Die Peace this year (school year really, so September to now) and I'm reading Game of Shadows right now, it's fascinating stuff.
I would co sign on Game of Shadows. I finished it this weekend. It is facinating to think that THG would still be an unknow perfomance enhancing drug if it wasn't for a fight between Victor Conte and Marion Jones' old track coach. Great read for any sports fan. IMO.Moderator
