Totoro is the best, closely followed by Kiki, Spirited Away and Grave of the Fireflies.

Totoro is such a magical film. Don't mistake it and Spirited Away, Kiki etc for being children's films, they appeal to everyone. Pure magical experiences.

And Grave of the Fireflies is one of the best war movies ever made. No need to just put it into a 'good for anime' class.

Sorry...I wasn't calling anyone out or anything.

I misunderstood SPTO's statement. It appeared to me that he knew all about Roger Rabbit, but was shocked to hear that there was a movie. I was just totally baffled by that and was looking for an explaination.
