On SNL, is it just me or do they suck live. I know you talk about nickel back being a bad band, but their live performances are just like their CD. Not much studio enhancement! These Garage bands are terrible live, Bgarret, I am going to give nickel creek a listen and see why everybody likes them.

I hear you, I am just getting tired of these talentless band making it. Granted I grew up with and was friend with Billy from Greenday, so I like his music, but they are actually pretty talented instrument wise, Billy has been playing Guitar for over 28 years, and is pretty good at it. But I guess I will go back to old rock, I do like Seether a lot. Not a big fan of Tool lol. I like Nickel Creek they have a cool sound and different sound. Yeah I saw them. It was a repeat from a few weeks ago and while I was watching I also thought they were a poor live act.

The only reason I say that is because people slam on them. So I say that is probably the reason why I like them. I don't know if I would like them as much if I didn't know them lol. I thought about posting about this band when that episode origionally aired. To me, they're just a cliche of what a band is supposed to be. With the jump spins with the guitar, to the lead singer doing that gay foot stomp thing.
It's all cliche.

Easily the worst live band I've ever seen. Can't stand their music to begin with because you can't understand anything the lead singer sings, but live, my God, they should have took a clue from Ashlee Simpson and lip sync'ed.Comment
