    Saw Kanye at UNCW last night...

    It was hella sweet, better than I imagined. I got a free ticket from a friend and went with her, her brother, then one of her old suitemates from UNCW got the last ticket...it was great, I'd go see him again tonight if I could. I was disappointed with the opening act which was a group of 4 white guys, 3 of them played drums on buckets and ladders and then the 4th was the DJ or whatever...then during the show Kanye stopped a few songs because the spotlight guy wasnt doing his job right or whatever, but it was funny...I felt bad for the guy that was running the spotlight though...he also had to tell the camera guy to show more of the people on stage with him and not let it focus all on him...but considering the crowd it was really hype for the most part...there was a couple sitting to the right of our group that just stood there the whole night, didnt sing along, clap, put their hands up, or anything...why buy the ticket if your not into the music?

          Yea, but I understand where he is coming from...he wants to have the best show possible given the setting...not just to make him look good for having an awesome show but so that it pleases the fans at the same time...the school should want that too, they payed a lot of money so I am sure they want the best show possible as well

              UNCW has brought in some good shows recently, they had Chappell doing stand-up at the height of his TV show. Now Kanye, pretty impressive. How much were tickets, do you know?

                  No idea, it doesnt say on the part of the ticket they let you keep, I dunno if it was on the stub or not...since they were free to me I wasn't too concerned with it....they were hard core about no cameras/picture phones though we saw a few people walking back to their cars saying they were turned away at the door because they had on, so we put all our stuff back in the car...but of course there were tons of phones and cameras in there...I was really hoping to get a few pics...but oh well, it was a great night...i did get lost of pictures of us in the car though...ha, it was a good weekend.
