Best Satellite Internet
My father is looking for the best Satellite internet access to have for anywhere he goes. He's trying to start a business or whatever and he's looking for information. I was trying to hook up wireless for the two main places he goes, home and work, but he wants to show me up and say that satellite is what he desires. Can you guys drop links and suggestions on the best sites? I'd greatly appreciate it on the real.Tags: None -

Re: Best Satellite Internet
I guess you mean wireless internet any where you go. Sprint makes a good product, it is around $60 a month, you just plug the card in and it works like a wireless card would. I don't have one, but a lot of the people I work with have them and they are say they're great.Comment

Re: Best Satellite Internet
I'm not sure I understand, but a wireless dsl modem isn't going to reach from his office to his house unless they're VERY close (ie: next door to each other and even then, it might not work). The wireless signal isn't strong enough to reach very far.
He'd need a wireless internet card that p_rushing mentioned. That was the service is provided for him and all he'd have to do is connect.Comment

Re: Best Satellite Internet
Okay, I typed too soon so let me clarify the situation. My father wanted to be wireless on the internet. I was telling him to just try and do it in his office where he is the majority of the time when he's not at home. He was getting information in having a nationwide broadband internet access which is possibly through Verizon. I was trying to see if there were any other companies that did the nationwide wireless access. With Verizon, you can be in your car and be on the internet on a road trip. I was looking for cheaper ones. I found all the information out today. Thanks again. Hope that cleared it all up.Comment
