I heard the first disc. It follows in line with the last two album, if you enjoyed them then you will like the new one. I'm hoping they change it up a bit on the second disc. Frusciante's guitar work is amazing.

EDIT: They don't really change it up on the second disc. They have a few SLIGHTLY more rocking song, but nothing too different. I'm pretty sure fans of their last two will enjoy this one, there are probably 4-5 hit singles on there. Good pop/rock music.

I've only heard 2 songs from this album, but I can tell already I will love this album. I loved By the Way and Californication...hell I love everyone of their cd's since Mother's Milk.

I'm much more hyped for Songs From Black Mountain, then again, I've never been able to even tolerate the Chili Peppers.

I'd advise anyone who wants a good opinion on something to go exactly the opposite of however BGarrett feels.

I enjoyed Californication because it was such a change from their previous stuff, but By The Way seemed to fall right in line with that album and now Stadium Arcadium is the 3rd album in a row that sounds pretty much the same. If you liked both Californication and By The Way, you will certainly enjoy Stadium Arcadium. I was just hoping for a change of pace.
