    Ipod trouble

4th gen. 20 gb ipod only showing the apple sign and the sad ipod face with the exclamation point and the apple support url. When I plug the ipod into the pc, it shows the charging sign and that's it..When I try to reset the ipod, it just shows like a line in the middle for a second and then goes back to a blank screen and the apple sign comes back on with the "support exclamation point". The Pod is not recognized by Itunes or the Updater, or the pc itself. Help?

        Re: Ipod trouble

I'm having trouble downloading Itune purchased songs. The last 6 or 7 songs I've downloaded are incomplete-not sample songs-just incomplete. I have the newer $299 video version.

The Itune file or whatever was somehow corrupted. By going to the Add Or Remove Programs it gives you and option to uninstall or go into maintenance-I chose maintenance and it corrected the problem.
