Hey everyone, I have a pretty good idea for an interactive website that I would like to pitch to a company. I have the initial designs worked out, and I am about to start developing a working test site. It has interactive menus, pictures, text, and videos, which can be easily accessed by the viewer, providing them with a lot of information at once, but in an organized and visually pleasing manner.
I know it doesn't sound like much, but I don’t want to go into the specifics of the idea and what it would be used for. There are also specific portions of it that can be reserved for paying subscribers to the site, which is another reason this company, I believe, would have a strong interest in this. Also, it incorporates technology that this company has in place presently, and utilizes it in a way that could reach more people then it does currently. If it were to be purchased by the company, it would affect about 80 percent of their entire website.
I have a few questions for anyone that can help. First, how would I go about bringing this idea to the company? Second, would this seem like something that I would sell to the company, or license? Lastly, with this effecting my estimated 80 percent of the companies current website, what do you think they would pay for something like this?
