Loudest sports venues???
i havent been to many arenas/stadiums, so i was just wondering which stadium is the loudest in each sport.
I heard Sacramento was the loudest in the Nba, shark tank in hockey, minnesota for football, and baseball id think would be a toss-up."We're winners baby! ****in' winners! pushin it to the max, cuz thats how we roll!!!" ~ BrucieTags: None -
Re: Loudest sports venues???
Despite the lack of a roof, Arrowhead Stadium definitely has to be at least one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL.
Beyond that, I don't know. I'd like to see some others' opinions on the loudest venue in college hoops and college football, and also MLB.

Re: Loudest sports venues???
Back when the Jazz were a good team their arena was the loudest in the NBA. I remember one postseason they had a decibel meter and the thing was going off the charts. So when the place is full and the fans are into it i'd say that's the loudest venue in the NBA.
Arrowhead for Football
Metrodome for baseball and it's 1A in football
NHL, that's a hard one, while the Shark Tank gets VERY loud i'd wager that most of the Canadian arenas are louder during the playoffs.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

When a big team comes in, Assembly Hall at IU is about as loud as I have ever heard. When Duke came last year, i really couldnt hear a thing."Basketball may have been born in Massachusetts, but it grew up in Indiana." - James NaismithComment

The Horseshoe in Columbus and the Out House in Michigan are both so loud your head hurts, especially when it's OSU/Michigan on the field.
Cleveland Municipal Stadium in the late 80's, during the real Dawg Pound years was extremely loud and teams hated coming here due to the noise and the dog biscuits being thrown at them.Comment

Back in the day, the Thomas & Mack Center was an absolute madhouse for UNLV games... I went there twice when my uncle was a student there, and it was nuts... That was the original Shark Tank.Comment

Notre dame stadium seems pretty loud on tv, along with the gators.
