I feel for Jistic. He takes more heat for this thing than it's worth. If this is the last year, it's sad to see it go, but 100% understandable.

Nah man. Things get a little testy b/c we all have our own preferences. I like the fact that pictures are removed b/c then you have to do the research yourself and Jistic doesn't get slammed for posting bad pics of "insert girl name." I just hope we use a different magazine for establishing the seedings. That would be my one and only change for next year.

Jistic has/is doing a great job with this and I consider it to be a nice tradition started at OS.

I agree. I can't speak for him, but he sounded pretty tired of the arguing on another Showdown Thread. Maybe he'll change his mind come this time next year.

Although discussion is always enjoyable, if it returns, next year might have to be vote only, no replies. That and/or have a separate thread for discussion and allow people to post their own pics (although no nudity of any kind of course). Just suggestions but Jistic does a great job so I hate to see it go.

Instead he gets slammed for not posting pics, the seedings or his final four picks. I think almost every thread this year had at least one post complaining about the babe showdown format. This thing was meant to be fun, but some people take it way too seriously.

A lot of what you said is true, but most of it was the initial reaction....very similar to the NCAA selection sunday. You get a few complaints whenever the seedings come out. You get a few complaints when you change the format (ie. remove pics), but once the change is made everyone moves on.
