Think they have totally ruined Superman with this new look.

After that, find Uncanny #94 however you can and go from there. This is the beginning of Chris Claremont's and John Byrne's run on the series and it's full of great great stories man.

I think my cousin still has all those original print issues. Lucky bastard.
I have both GS #1 and Uncanny 94

I didn't know who you meant until I looked up some pics. Wow..... did this dude have some kind of steroid envy?? But at least you guys didn't have to deal with Frank Robbins from my era. Who is Frank Robbins you ask..... probably one of the most dreadful Marvel illustrators to come along. He drew everyone with a Gumby pose and a crooked mouth:

I got a guy at work. He's 55 and is a HUGE comics fan. Every couple of weeks, he receives a package with some nice comic booklets and even books. I can imagine his house...hundreds of comic books all over the basement...

So what all are you looking to pick up once the DCU starts shipping out it's new #1s? I've been talking with my comic lady and I'm having trouble deciding what to put in my pull file.

I'll be getting the "Family" books (Batman, Superman, Green Lantern) for sure. I'll probably check out all the other ones as well. I'm looking forward to All Star Western and the new Sgt. Rock comic as well.

Thanks SPTO. Eh, not supring with Supergirl but I'm disappointed with the Quinn redesign.

The Supergirl redesign isn't killing me. Not necessarily crazy about it, but I can live with it.

The Harley Quinn makes me think of some slutty looking cosplay girl who put her own spin on it.

Harley reminds me of Tira from Soulcalibur for some reason. Its ok I guess. Not a fan of superman AT ALL so I don't care what they do to him and the characters around him.

I do like that better than the Harley jester suit in the old(?) DCU though. In that vein I hope they go with Morrison's recent take on the Joker than the classic one of old.

I'm sure that fan reaction will be bad enough in many of these to force DC to go back to their more classic looks.

There's already talk from some fans that a good chunk of this reboot/reset will settle back to what we currently have in some form or other. I'm going to guess this'll end up like Zero Hour where the new status quo lasted about a year or so and then old elements will creep back in.
