World's Finest is slightly confusing if you hadn't read the Mister Terrific comic where Power Girl/Karen Starr had a little something going with Michael Holt/Mister Terrific and she basically stole some technology of his so she can possibly go back home to Earth 2. At the end of the Mister Terrific series he ends up being presumably sent to Earth 2 and the 2nd issue of that series will concentrate on his fate.

I read the Huntress mini mainly because I read almost anything with a tangential connection to Batman. The series did seem like a regular New 52 mini for the entire thing until the last 2-3 pages where they tacked on her friendship to Power Girl and how they're both really from Earth 2 which left a bit of a bitter taste to me as I thought the Huntress mini was really good. I'm glad to see Paul Levitz writing Worlds Finest though as he also wrote said Huntress mini.

I figured out the Powergirl stuff just fine,it was the Huntress thing that had me confused because I hadn't read them.

It's free comic book day. I still don't have a local shop but comixology has some.

I don't think Comixology reports earnings but I'm guessing the Avengers sale sold huge this weekend.

Yeah they've got to be doing pretty well, usually listed in the top grossing app section.

Into volume 3 of my Scott Pilgrim reread. This volume always gives out the vibe that its slow and tedious, but it is actually paced very well and builds some amazing character dynamics and arcs. Sure, there is definitely more "story" and a slower, less action-friendly pace, but its awesome watching story lines weave in and together. Not to mention the comedy bits are great and acquires a feel similar to Arrested Development in that the characters and situations become funnier the more you get to know the characters.

The latest issue of Action Comics in my opinion was really bad, I do like some of the alternate Earth issues but this one just didn't work to well.

That was a pretty bad issue mainly for the oblique parallels to Obama that even the most oblivious knuckle dragging idiot could see from a mile away.

It was one of Morrison's lesser works IMO.

I stopped reading a lot of the New 52 a few issues in, but surprised to already see them going to the alternate timeline stuff.

More Wildstorm characters popping up in the DC U are what will probably get me to start reading a few titles again.
