Thief of Thieves was a great read. Love the story so far and the plot developments and flashbacks. I suggest you guys start reading this one. It's a nice break from the superhero reading; as it's like reading the Ocean's 11 movie w/ far more going on and more at stake.

If you ever see him let him know he's turned a guy who completely detested the X-books into an X-men fan....Hm, maybe I should write to Marvel, they might publish my letter.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Read Thunderbolts #4, was kind of hoping Elektra would have gotten killed off, that would've been the kind of game-changing event this title would've needed. A las though she was just beat up real bad, and found some way for General Awa to shoot himself in the head while her arms were bound over her head. Facepalm/WTF!
Apparently, although the punisher shot leader in the head, rulk is seen charging him up w/ gamma radiation to revive him.

Yea I know that's how it goes, that characters don't die, or do but are brought back somehow. I was just hoping that trend was going to end in Thunderbolts though... an issue ended w/ the punisher putting a bullet into leader's head and I thought "wow" only for the next issue to somehow retroactively correct that... and I still don't know or understand how Elektra was able to get out of her situation.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Picked up all new xmen #1 at my shop yesterday. The artwork has been fantastic, but the whole time travel thing is a little over the top for my liking.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Comic Book Fans....
As improbable as the premise may be the series has become (currently) my favorite book at Marvel. Bendis has drifted away from some of his tics that pisses the hell out of me and is telling a very interesting story. It's one comic I look forward to reading every time it comes out.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Seems like a swipe at DC but if they go ahead and reboot AGAIN. I think I might just stick to being a DC guy.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Comic Book Fans....
Historically I've been a Marvel fanboy.... Hulk, Cap, Deadpool, Wolvie, Punisher...but w/ the new 52 in DC, it was an entrance point into the DC U.
The Batman stories have been great, and from that I branched into Team 7, Suidcide Squad, Phantom Stranger, and Talon. I've liked them all...
If Marvel did reboot again, I would be likely done w/ them.
Currently I have Hulk, Cap, Hawkeye, and Thunderbolts on subscription.
I absolutely love the way Hulk and Hawkeye are going. The story on Cap has been a mega one and I am enjoying it. Thunderbolts has been meh...
Marvel would lose me if they rebooted the Marvel Now progress they have already made.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: Comic Book Fans....
It was so refreshing to see this quote in IGN:
Of course, Marvel's head honcho Kevin Feige has floated the possibility of replacing Downey, Jr. eventually, James Bond style. "I hope Downey makes a lot of movies for us as Stark," Feige said back in April. "If and when he doesn't, and I'm still here making these movies, we don't take him to Afghanistan and have him wounded again. I think we James Bond it."
I'm really tired of reboots and origin stories over and over again. Hope this really comes to pass.New York Giants (8 NFL Championships-4 Superbowls )

Re: Comic Book Fans....
They really should do that with Batman instead of rebooting/refurbishing it now that Nolan/Bale are gone. Batman is one IP that can easily be "James Bonded".It was so refreshing to see this quote in IGN:
