    Completely Removing YAHOO from CPU

I'm trying to uninstall all remnants of YAHOO from my mother's CPU but I can't seem to uninstall YAHOO EXTRAS. Any ideas?

I was able to uninstall YAHOO MESSENGER and other YAHOO extensions, but everytime I've tried to uninstall YAHOO EXTRAS her CPU freezes.

Add/Remove Programs, then uninstall all the Yahoo features you don't want. That's what I did and it worked for me.

Did all that-successful except for YAHOO EXTRAS.

it probably is getting started each time the computer is turned on and prevents deletion, so go into safe mode and uninstall from there

try going to your search function

type in yahoo under the search for files/folders feature

then manually delete everything yahoo still on the computer

Thanks pRushing-that did the trick. Thanks anyway KDRE, but the problem seems to be resolved. I'll keep it in mind for future troubleshooting.
