Sony isnt doing anything to get on my good side...
So about 2 months ago I bought a Sony Erickson phone(perhaps a different company then "sony" I dont think so though) and the LCD screen cracked within a week of me having the phone, I called them up cause I had a one year warenty on the phone, and they said they wouldnt replace it because I broke it at work...250 dollars down the drain...
About a year ago, my ps2 broke, well thats fine, I had the thing for about 3 years, so I start playing my friends ps2 and within a month of playing on his ps2 the thing breaks...They need to put out a more durable product...I vowed never to buy anything from Sony ever again after they wouldnt fix my phone, and after the PS2 fiasco, im sticking with that vow...Terrible company...Rather be dead than RED!

I don't.
After working retail for EB/Gamestop for 2yrs I would have customers coming in complaining (about twice a week) about how Sony won't fix their PS2s for free... I can understand the people that had systems out of warrenty, but I know of at least 8 cases were it was with in the 90 days. Sony said they would fix it for $130 bucks, but it would take 4-8 weeks to get your system back.
I would be asked routineluy if I knew someone that fixed them that wasn't a part of sony...
A close friend of mine here in Raleigh worked at Circuity City for over a year. He was in the PC department... the main CPUs getting complaints were the Sony Viaos. Again, Sony would refuse or argue with trying too help. In most cases people would just give up since it was like fighting with a shark.
Sony does have a legitimate problem with customer service that they are trying to change, but it's going to take a while for such a huge company for everyone to be on the same page.BeyondMediaOnline.comComment

They lost me as a customer for life. Only Sony products in my house are my HDTV and my PS2. Everything else I got rid of. And vow'ed never to buy Sony again.Comment
