    Registry Cleaners

Are there any free ones out there with unlimited repairs? How much does defragmentation help in eliminating registry problems?

This is what I use. It's free and easy to use.

        Re: Registry Cleaners

Please forgive me for being sorta computer ******** (I do the best I can keeping this thing protected). Anyway, what exactly does a registry cleaner accomplish? (and why is ccleaner.com better than another?)

I typically run a virus scan and spyware scan. Have a firewall, etc. And routinely run a disk cleanup and defrag.

        Thanks.
